The way we work with dogs is changing and for the better.

Scientific research and some of the best Canine Professionals in the world have realised that giving dogs a choice in their 'training' creates a much happier dog and happier care giver. 

Recently, I have completed the Animal Centred Education 'Dog Detective' course. This enables me to observe your dog with a view to spotting any muscular/skeletal issues. I also follow the teachings of Animal Centred Education and practice free work sessions with my clients.

Freework allows dogs to explore different textures, surfaces, smells and all the other senses.

Sniffing, chewing and licking are the best calming and destresssers for dogs.

Freework includes all of these elements in a safe environment. It is a low impact activities with an emphasis on mental stimulation.

Great for puppies to learn about different surfaces, smells and gives them the low impact exercise they need at this life stage.

Dogs with reactivity to other dogs or people benefit greatly by creating calm and allows us to slowly introduce whatever triggers their behaviour until they feel a lot more comfortable with it.

Senior dogs will really enjoy our sessions as we concentrate on stretching those tired old muscles and give them low impact physical exercise and mental stimulation.

Freework is wonderful for those shy or timid dogs. Our sessions enable these pups to feel more safe and secure.

As pain is the reason for up to 85% of behavioural issues in dogs it is essential that we know if your dog is experiencing any pain or discomfort.

It must be stressed, that I am not a Veterinarian and I do not diagnose anything, I am just able to spot any unusual body positions or coat changes in your dogs so that you can then take them to get medical advice.

Freework sessions can be as short as 30 minutes and will fulfill your dogs needs for the day. So if you have a busy lifestyle and not much time for exercising and mentally stimulating your furry family member than Freework is your answer.
